Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple

• Significance: The Padmanabhaswamy Temple is one of the most famous Vishnu temples in India and is renowned for its immense wealth and opulence. The deity is worshipped in the form of Anantha Shayana (reclining posture) on the serpent Anantha.
• Architecture: The temple is an excellent example of Dravidian architecture, featuring a towering gopuram (gateway tower) and intricate stone carvings. The sanctum sanctorum houses the large idol of Lord Padmanabha, made of 12,008 salagramams (sacred stones).
